Subject: running issue.
Topic Replies: 0

Im workin on this project and have an issue with it. Its very hard to start, and really does not want to stay running. After getting some heat into it, its a little happier, but still not right.

When i give it some gas (neutral) it has a hesitation then will rev, almost like its fighting to get up there. Ive been able to set timing to 5 degrees. it had a bad TPS, replaced that and set to .500v and it works full range. I know my fuel system is working well. Only thing I can figure is that I might have low compression due to a low vacuum reading. also new plugs, and a perfect working COP setup (tested COP, ECU, MAS, CAS, on other cars to verify working perfectly)

Im waiting to get my compression tester back so I can see my numbers. Bottom end is a stock rebuild with used pistons, rings, new bearings. Head was just taken from another motor that supposedly ran good.

Any ideas other then what ive stated would be awesome cause im lost at this point.
